ABOUT US
OUR STORY
The Garage Dance Complex was founded by Bethany Dail during the pandemic of 2020. Before opening The Garage, Bethany taught at Unlimited Dance Dynamics in Chesapeake, VA. When that studio closed due to COVID, Bethany decided to jump out on a limb and open her own studio. The Garage started out as strictly a competitive dance studio and is now branching out into limited recreational classes with limited styles and ages. Located off of North Battlefield, The Garage Dance Complex is easy to get to and offers a wide variety of competitive levels as well as recreational. We think of ourselves as family and would love for you to join!
WHAT MAKE US UNIQUE
What Makes the Garage Dance Complex so unique?
The Garage Dance Complex Started when our home studio was shut down due to covid-19. Bethany brought the 30 dancers that were on the competitive team at the previous studio and created The Garage. The Garage Dance Complex is more like a family than a dance studio. Being mostly competitive with only a few recreational classes, We are unique in that way. When you come to The Garage, you're getting a high quality dance education!

We offer technique classes in all genres of dance for our competitive team!! Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical. Contemporary, Hip-Hop, and Musical Theater!

Competitive Dance
Our GDC Team competes in 5 Competitions throughout the year from months Jan-May. Our GDC dancers are held to a higher standard than most dancers. They work hard and are dedicated to making there dance careers a success.

The Garage Dance Complex is proud to partner with Movement is Medicine P.T
Movement is Medicine is a locally owned privately owned physical Therapy Practice located in Downtown Norfolk off of Colley Avenue. Owned by Amanda Bennett and Marc Adams, they work with our dancers on a regular basis for strength, conditioning and injury prevention.
